This project included a full-stack development of an automatic books returning system for municipal libraries. The system is an automation of librarians that allows the reader to return a landed book by scanning its barcode, without the need of a human librarian. using this system the user can come any time, and return books even after opening hours.
The development included a secure connection to the various libraries data bases through API calls, and a connection to hardware and electronic cards.
Today, after the successful development of the first system, we are working on the next version, which aims to be an electronic library that is located in residential neighborhoods.

Automate the book land and return processes, enabling users to order and return books independently at any time, even outside regular library hours. This convenience is achieved by allowing users to scan the book&#8217;s barcode, eliminating the need for librarian assistance.

Traditional library systems often face challenges related to limited operating hours and the need for human staff to manage book returns. This can be inconvenient for users who wish to return books at their convenience, including evenings and weekends.

Our solution involves the development of a secure system that connects to various library databases through API calls. Additionally, it integrates with hardware and electronic cards to facilitate the book return process seamlessly. This innovative approach not only enhances user satisfaction but also reduces the workload of librarians.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry&#8217;s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

במסגרת הפרויקט בוצע פיתוח Full-stack למערכת החזרת ספרים אוטומטית עבור הספריות העירוניות. המערכת מהווה אוטומציה לספרנים ומאפשרת לקורא להחזיר ספר לספריה ע״י סריקת הברקוד שלו, ללא צורך בתיווך אנושי. בעזרת מערכת זו יכול הקורא להחזיר ספרים אפילו לאחר שעות פעילות הספריה.
הפיתוח כלל חיבור למערכות הספריה השונות בצורה מאובטחת באמצעות קריאות API, וכן חיבור לחומרה וכרטיסים אלקטרוניים.
כיום, לאחר הצלחת הפיתוח של המערכת הראשונה, אנו עובדים על מערכת המשך הנמצאת בשלבי פיתוח, שמטרתה להוות ספריה אלקטרונית בשכונות מגורים.

מערכת להחזרה והשאלה של ספרים בצורה אוטומטית וחכמה

מכונה לאוטומציה בספריות

פרויקט זה מכיל פיתוח Full-stack של מערכת השאלה והחזרת ספרים אשר פותחה באופן ייעודי עבור הספריות העירוניות בישראל. המטרה העיקרית היא לחולל מהפכה בחוויית הספרייה המסורתית על ידי ייעול תהליכי השאלה והחזרה של ספרים, הפחתת התלות בספרנים אנושיים ושיפור נוחות המשתמש.

הגברת תחושת הנוחות וחווית המשתמש של לקוחות הספריה העירונית ע&#8221;י אוטומציה של תהליכי השאלה והחזרת הספרים. כך ניתן לאפשר למשתמשים לבצע את הפעולות האלו באופן עצמאי בכל עת, גם מחוץ לשעות הפעילות הרגילות של הספרייה. מתן אפשרות לסריקה עצמאית של ברקוד הספר וביטול הצורך בסיוע ספרן מאפשרת למשתמשים להינות משירותי הספריה בזמן המתאים להם, גם לאחר שעות הפעילות ומגבירה את תחושת הנוחות שלהם.

ספרייה במתכונתה המסורתית מתמודדת לעיתים קרובות עם אתגרים הקשורים לשעות פעילות מוגבלות ולצורך בצוות אנושי לניהול החזרות ספרים. הדבר עלול להקשות על משתמשים המעוניינים להחזיר ספרים בזמן שיותר נוח להם, כמו ערבים וסופי שבוע.
<h2>פתרון</h2>
הפתרון שלנו כולל פיתוח מערכת מאובטחת המתחברת למאגרי מידע שונים של ספריות באמצעות קריאות API. בנוסף, הוא משתלב עם חומרה וכרטיסים אלקטרוניים כדי להקל על תהליך החזרת הספר בצורה חלקה. גישה חדשנית זו לא רק משפרת את שביעות רצון המשתמש אלא גם מפחיתה את עומס העבודה של הספרנים.
